Early Play from The Prophet for week 7

I have decided on the 2 games that I will be using this week, here they are followed by a brief analysis of the match-ups

Game 1

Carolina Panthers -3.5 at home vs the New Orleans Saints, The Panthers are coming back home after getting blown off the field by Tampa. New Orleans is a notoriously streaky team, winning big one week, and struggling the next. I think Carolina wins convincingly at home here, flexing their muscles with the running game, and playing off that to find Steve Smith for some big plays.

Game 2

Miami Dolphins - 3 at home vs the Baltimore Ravens, The Dolphins are playing well, and are coming off a game they should have won, outplaying Houston the whole game, only to lose the lead when Matt Schaub guided a 70+ yard drive with under 30 seconds to go. They beat a pretty good San Diego team also, and had an impressive win at New England. The Ravens anemic offense will be exposed here by an under-rated Dolphin defense. Look for alot of short passes to Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams.

Miami 20 Baltimore 13

Even though I like both home teams to cover easily, I have decided to take the safest play here, eliminating both lines and getting both home teams in picks. I went the safe route this week because Mikethedealer has put his trust in me to recover some of his money he has lost this year, a combination of bad luck and a few bad plays has Mike at 1-5 for the year on his plays. The Prophet has vowed to get him on the positive in the coming weeks.
